Holiday Chic Bump Style: Red + Black

Confession: I’ve been listening to Christmas music since July. Yes, I’m that annoying person who secretly does a happy dance when department stores bust out Christmas trees in September. I promise I can’t help it! The holiday season gives me all the feels.

That said, with the holiday season come holiday parties, and with holiday parties come endless style choices. I think aside from the coziness, hustle and bustle, and time with family and friends, my favorite things about this time of year are definitely the fashion trends. And besides all the amazing textures cold weather brings, I absolutely love the COLORS.

If you’ve followed along on my blog journey, you’ve probably noticed I generally wear a lot of neutrals- blacks, grays, browns, and subtle pinks. But we all know the holiday season is all about that RED. So when I found this gorgeous cold shoulder maternity top c/o Pink Blush, it was love at first sight.

I mean, even at 33 weeks pregnant with little feet kicking your ribs and crotch, it’s nice to feel like you’ve still got style, right ladies?!

Well, you guys already know about my love for PinkBlush clothing. Besides the fact that they make super cute and comfortable maternity clothes, did you know that you can wear 99% of their items even post pregnancy? And I don’t mean that you can wear them but you’ll look like you’re wearing your old maternity clothes. I mean their stuff is specially designed to not look like it’s made to hide a massive bump.

Pairing this show-stopping top with these insanely comfortable booties and faux leather leggings under $50, I think this bump-friendly outfit is ready to debut for holiday party season.

And if you’re curious about the lipstick I’m wearing, you can find that here. Not only is it the perfect shade of holiday red, but the peppermint flavor is seriously to die for! Plus, it’s nontoxic. And when you’re pregnant like I am, that definitely puts your mind at ease.

So, what do you guys think about this look? What’s your holiday style go-to?

  1. First of all I’m impressed that you are 33 weeks pregnant and wearing those shoes! I can hardly wear anything but a flat, not pregnant. That shirt is lovely. And I love that you could wear it after you have your baby. The worst part of buying maternity cloths is knowing you are spending all that money to only wear those cloths for a short amount of time.
