Happy Monday, friends! Today I’d like to share with you my experience with Ladder. Ladder is an incredibly convenient, on-the-go personal training app that matches you up with a coach based on your fitness style preferences. The best part? It’s mobile and ridiculously affordable (and cheaper than a gym membership)!
Have you ever gotten lost in the vicious game of comparison? Maybe you struggle with chronic mom guilt like I do.
I remember the first time I ever got hair extensions. I was 17 years old and I’d scrimped and saved to get them done at a local salon. It took over 6 hours to get them installed, and when all was said and done, I absolutely hated them.
Happy Memorial Day, friends! As the daughter of immigrants, I feel truly blessed to live in this country and am grateful for those who have served to protect its rights. May we never forget their sacrifice!
First, I want to wish you all a happy post-Easter week!
As much as I love holidays, the chaos surrounding all the festivities can be a bit overwhelming, so it’s nice to get back into the groove of things afterwards. I personally spent the day at the Emergency Room (more on that later) and have been in recovery mode ever since. I don’t think I fully understood the meaning of being miserable until I got sick on Easter and had TWO kiddos to tend to. Oy! Thank God for amazing husbands that step up to the plate when necessary. Quality guy right there!
So y’all know I turned the big 30 a couple months ago. It’s crazy because inside I still feel like I’m 17, buuuuuut a lot has changed since then. I look back on certain things I wore and definitely cringe! Haha. But over the past 13 years, my perspective on many things has drastically changed. I used to wear a lot of fast fashion, but I’m at the point in life where I no longer spend money on things I don’t absolutely love or that won’t last.
Hi friends! Hope you’re all having a great Tuesday. Today’s post is fun and lighthearted because we’re talking about that glorious transition from dreary winter to blooming spring. And what better way to celebrate the weather getting warmer than with pretty maxi dresses and denim jackets?
You know what I really love? Companies with a mission behind the brand- especially those that help children. Ever since becoming a mom, I pretty much cry anytime I read/see/hear about a baby suffering. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve always hated the thought of any innocent child in distress, but once I had my own I couldn’t even entertain the thought without shedding a tear.
Happy Tuesday, friends! You’ve probably noticed I haven’t been posting as many outfit posts on here lately. Life with two kiddos has just been so insanely hectic! I have yet to try to get through a photoshoot with both my toddler and newborn in tow, but it’s looking like it’ll have to happen in the next few weeks. Being cooped at home has had its advantages, though, because it’s given me time to think about the direction I want to take this blog.

I never really understood the power of convenience until I became a mom. Let’s be honest; until you’ve got a nursing newborn and/or messy toddler on your hands, you don’t bat an eye before purchasing that sheer white blouse.
